2 month old teething?

My daughter is 2 1/2 months old and for maybe since a week before turning 2 months she has been drooling a lot and today she has been very fussy and has a slight fever i gave her infant Tylenol and it seems to help her she falls asleep right after a bottle and medicine but when she wakes up she’s just crying and chews on her hands or on my husbands knuckles and since she’s my first  baby i don’t know if it’s normal for her to be teething yet ?

Define teething. My sons two bottom teeth broke through a little after he turned 2 months and now hes a little over 5 months and has 4 teeth. Two top two bottom. Orajel baby is safe. Doesn't have any thing bad in it. Also letting the baby chew on a piece of onion will help.

Mine started drooling and putting everything in his mouth at 2 months. My understanding is it’s not teething, but more so just discovering his hands and that he can put stuff in his mouth. The drooling I think is from their saliva glands( if that’s what it’s called lol) to start working.

Teething can happen this early but it’s not common for it to be this early. 
If you think it’s teething you could give your baby a cold wet washcloth to gnaw on or find some other teething toys to help. My husband and his sister both got their first tooth by the time they were 2-3 months old. My mil told me because it had pissed her off when No one believed it because they were so young.

Mine started teething at about 2 months. He is 3 months now and while he has 2 spots that are almost teeth they are still not through the gums.

We carefully use a soft teether toy. Sometimes he wants the stuffed head, sometimes the hard teether. Sometimes he only calms when chewing on me or my husband's finger.

If she’s fixing to bust teeth u will be able to tell by looking at her gums. At 2 months I would refrain from using Tylenol unless absolutely necessary, which, if the teeth aren’t cutting thru it’s not necessary yet. Drooling and chewing are common things for babies of all ages, it doesnt always mean teething. U will know before long if that is for sure what’s going on, just trust ur instincts😁 and keep watching those gums, that will be the most obvious sign😬
