That isn’t for anyone but you and your SO to decide. We waited until our 20 week gender sono to announce publicly because our first ended in miscarriage before we could tell anyone and this is just what we felt comfortable with. We told our immediate families at 10 weeks, though.

i recommend waiting till after the first trimester and getting a ultrasound that confirms a healthy viable pregnancy the only reason being that you never know what can happen and it’ll be so much easier handling a loss privately than having to explain to everybody i wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy ☺️♥️

I waited till 20weeks due to a previous mc. It's easier to deal alone if something happens than to get the sad looks and "are u ok" questions

It’s totally up to you. There’s no right or wrong. Traditionally they recommend waiting until after 1st trimester as that is when miscarriage rates significantly decrease. But it’s your choice. Last time I told my sister around 5 weeks, our parents around 8 weeks, and everyone else I knew around 10.5 weeks.
This time my sister knew right away because we were both ttc (and got our positives on the same day!!!). We’re both telling our parents thanksgiving week. So families will know earlier this time around (6 weeks) but then we’ll wait til at least 10 weeks to tell anyone else

Ive always told close family & friends as it’s always nice to have someone to talk. Funnily enough both times me and my best friend have been pregnant at the same time so we got to go through together (this is our second time being pregnant together I’m 5weeks today & shes 14weeks) 
This is my 3rd baby!.

Only you and SO can decide when to tell people. We told everyone as soon as we found out. So I was 6 weeks with my first, between 4-6 with 3 miscarriages I had and then this baby I announced at 4 weeks also. Just had her last week.
