How's the husband?

I just found out that I am pregnant after a miscarriage last year. My lines are light, but definitely there. I'm trying to stay super positive, but my husband refuses to believe it until the lines get darker and we go to the doctor. Is anyone else's husband reacting this way? Any ideas on how to relax a little bit until the next few days where i can test to see if the lines get darker?

Totally normal...with our son we got to experience all the BFP Bliss bliss as we had never experienced a loss before.  But with recent losses, my husband refuses to even acknowledge a pregnancy unless we have confirmed via ultrasound that everything is healthy.  It’s just too painful to be excited when you’ve experienced so much loss.  Last month I was pregnant with our rainbow...we assumed everything was going well as my levels looked good..... & then at 8 weeks I was rushed into emergency surgery for an ectopic rupture...  lost my left tube & Heterotopic Twins.  I had already experienced a miscarriage & chemical pregnancies this year...so we know we cannot afford to let our hearts be too excited.  Sucks

I think men are just different. I just had a chemical after a miscarriage and I asked my husband if he was sad and he said “no, I didn’t have a good feeling”. We of course get our hopes up at a positive test. I feel sad that we won’t get super excited over a positive again. But enjoy this!!!! He’ll get there! It’ll seem real for him at appointments I’m sure.

It is understandable on him. He is afraid to get his hopes high and then boom nothing. There is no way to Chilax when all you guys been wanting is a bundle of joy running around the house, but in hale and out and God knows when I am ready. Leave it all in his hands :)

Do something that would help you relax. Take a walk, light a candle and have a bath. Have sex? Not sure honestly. Baby dust to you!
