Are the doctors right or am I stubborn??

Question

I went to the er and was told my HCG levels are at 600 . I had a transvaginal ultrasound no sac was seen and they suspect ectopic pregnancy. I refused medication
I will go back to the er to continue with the plan , but I feel like there is a hope

I second the other comment. I would get a second opinion. Don’t go to the ER. See your OB. They can do more tests and give you more information and spend more time discussing it with you. Of course if you do feel symptoms of an ectopic go back to the ER. But if it were me I would definitely see my OB and discuss my concern and request more tests. The ER can only do so much. They only tell you so much and will just tell you to follow up with your OB anyway.

I wouldn’t expect to see anything with a 600 outside of some vagina wall thickening. I would go to your OB and get a repeat US

Ask for another blood test in a few days to check your hcg levels if they've gone up then it's a good pregnancy if they haven't or if they've dropped then it could be miscarriage or ectopic.
