Hernia Repair during CS

Has anyone had a hernia caused by pregnancy fixed during their c section?

My doctor offered to fix mine during my CS and I really want him to but I don’t know how that works with insurance. I am definitely going to talk to my doctor more and my insurance company but I was just curious what other people’s experience was.

Did your insurance charge you for it or was it covered under your CS?

This will be my second CS.

Was recovery a little more painful?
