Miscarriage risk?

How high is the miscarriage risk? Im 10wks and 4 days and im scared to announce it because i had a miscarriage 2yrs ago at 10wks 4days and i wont have another ultrasound until 20 weeks :/ I wish we could have an ultrasound every month

I always look at this website, you can also input your data (age, # of live births, # of miscarriages, height, and weight) and it tells you what your specific chances are based on that. It definitely helps me feel a little better seeing the % go down everyday.

Okay all your responses are very reassuring i did look into it and once you detect a heartbeat the percentage drops tremendously ill hang on and try to purchase a home doppler thank you all!!

If you've seen the heart beat and are past 8 weeks, the risk is supposed to go down to 5-6%. Since you had a past loss, it makes sense that your hesitant. Can you wait until week 13, so you'll be in the 2nd trimester?

Why dont you try purchasing a doppler?

They’ll use the Doppler on you before 20 weeks. Your next appt should be around 12/14. Maybe wait til that one and you hear the hb again?

I was very scared at first so I feel your pain😭 there’s this website called the “Miscarriage Reassurer” that helped me a lot. You enter how far a long and it tells you the chance if you NOT miscarrying (which is pretty high) and how much your chance has dropped in the last week etc. Also, if you’ve had a normal ultrasound with a normal heartbeat your risk goes way down anyway

Miscarriage is a scary thing my last one was 4 months ago, now that God gives me another chance am positive and strong and it's not easy, but for your safety you can go for ultrasound my sister it will help you for some reason. But for me I don't want to know the gender am still scared. There's still a danger of miscarriage we hope just to pass the first trimester then we will be free for that 😔😔am scared even to tell my inlaws
