How did you push the issue of fertility?

My husband and I have been trying since February of 2018 we’ve had one miscarriage at 6 wks and one chemical pregnancy and I feel like when I go to my OBGYN she doesn’t take me seriously she just says “Keep trying and make sure you’re taking prenatals” like I get it and we have been trying but I’m honestly started to lose hope..

I’d say find a new OBGYN. It seems that a lot don’t take people seriously and it ends up being more than just a “keep trying” problem. Get a second opinion. I haven’t yet, so I have no advice from there, but from what I’ve seen, either push that you want to check for infertility and if they still don’t, find someone else who will.

Yes I defiantly agree with find a new doctor. As soon as I was coming up in a year my OB was ready to start trying things/having tests done! She even told me we could go as fast or as slow as I wanted with things. I would find a doctor that supports your wants and doesn’t just say “keep trying”.

I would honestly switch doctors. February 2018 means you’ve been ttc for over a year, which is usually when most doctors refer to fertility specialists.
