Depends???

So Im not a big fan of pads or the hospital mesh panties that are supposed to hold them up. Im seriously considering just buying depends, is that doing "too much"?

I’ve wore them two times and I refuse to wear anything else after birth. They are way more absorbent and comfortable.

I’m in the hospital right now trying to slow down labor. I can tell you from personal use, these hospital mesh panties DO NOT hold pads very well. It is not comfortable having to adjust these lumpy pads! When I come back for actual labor, I may just pack depends!

I absolutely hate pads but I used tena level 7 overnight pads when I had my first and my second and they were super comfortable

I bought a pack as well. First baby so Idk how useful it’ll be, but I’ve heard it works better than the hospital mesh undies.

I bought some depends with my first because I thought they’d be sooo much better than a bulky pad. I actually hated them. It truly felt like a diaper (not like underwear like they advertise) and was so much bulkier. It didn’t feel secure where as pads and tighter underwear are a little tighter to the vajayjay that it doesn’t feel like blood will just leak out. That being said I’m sure the depends fit eveyone differently and maybe they’d fit you better and they’d be more comfortable and work well for you so you can always give it a shot.

I already had depends for my really bad periods!!!! I almost always hemorrhage. They come in black now and look semi like underwear not diapers. Can’t hurt 🤷🏽‍♀️

Already have 5 pair in my hospital bag. The Depends Silhouettes are supposed to be good for the first few days after birth. After that I bought some giant Hanes underwear and pads to wear.

I have half a pack left over from a miscarriage I had in 2018 and I am totally using them after birth!
I actually used a big pad inside the depends and I would change the pad more often and it just felt better against my body that way. I'll probably do that again.

I got the always discreet adult underwear because I think I will be more comfortable than the mesh underwear and pads.
