New to bbt charting/ 2nd temp spike?

Question

This is my first month charting my bbt, and I started charting on 02/13 (CD13). It's my understanding that a temperature spike means ovulation, which I'm pretty sure happened on 02/14 (CD14). But this morning I had another temperature spike. What does that mean? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks ladies! =)​

You can still ovulate with a blocked Fallopian tube, just won't go down the tube like it's supposed to, so it won't get fertilized :( (unless you ovulate on the good side :))

Look up charts. Some women have triphastic charts. I think that is usually the sign of pregnancy though.

Ovulation is confirmed after THREE days of elevated temps but as you started on CD 13 (which is mid cycle) it's hard to tell.

Bbt tends to be a little all over the place for everyone. You want to look more for trends than one day of spike. My guess is that you spiked on 2/15 and that two days ago was just one of those weird days where the thermometer was off (or maybe you're body just was a little off for some reason).

​Although it's possible you haven't spiked yet given your negative opks. Or it's possible you just missed your window with the opks. Some of this stuff just takes some practice to get good at :) but I hope you don't get too much practice and are able to get pregnant very soon! Good luck!

If you never got a positive I would keep testing, chances are this spike could be it! GL!

Hi, from what I know/understand, the different ranges of temps are caused by hormones... So I'm unsure of why ur temp spiked twice.... Have u done ovulation tests aswell..??if ur temp spikes and stays elevated then I think you may have ovulated....

I've done two months of bbt now and on my first as it was recording I found it no use - every time I thought it was 'something' something else would happen. After the whole cycle I looked back and it made more sense - add on the 2nd and a trend should start.
