When will u get pregnant again after a success live birth via IVF?

I have eggs left in the storage, had 1 baby via IVF and he is now 15 months and still BF. When will be suitable time to go for transfer again?

Answer

You have to have them completely weaned before you can do another transfer. This is because the hormones you take for transfer can be passed through breastmilk and are not indicated for your baby. My first was weaned by the time she was 18 months old—we started weaning around 14 months though. It can take a different amount of time to wean depending on your kiddo. Anyway, we started the stims for a second transfer right after she was weaned and we did our transfer when she was 19 months old. Now she’s 22.5 months old and I’m 19 weeks with her sibling!
