Need some help
Hello. I have pcos & have recently started taking metformin (to help regulate cycles/ovulation & to aide with a bit of weight loss) so I make sure I started my diet AND working out 4-5 times a week. It’s going on a month & so far, I’ve GAINED 3 pounds. I’m not worried about wether the metformin is working or not because I know it takes time but I’ve been busting my ass at the gym & haven’t lost anything & that’s the concerning part. Meanwhile my husband is down 10 pounds just from these 2 in a half weeks 🙄 He getting sexier & I’m getting bigger 😂😂 WTH? Is there any specific workouts or machines at the gym I can try to help drop some weight? I’m considered very very unhealthy for my age & height. I’m 23 y/o, 5’9 & weigh 263 pounds as of yesterday. According to some research I read, I’m supposed to weigh between 140-165 BUT my goal for now is to at least get down to 185. So I have about 80 pounds to lose 😩 and I’m nowhere close. I thought I would’ve lost at least 4 or 5 pounds by now. Any tips or anything? I desperately need advice/help. As of now, my plan is to continue going to the gym but at least 6 days a week now & I plan in making my diet a bit stricter & see if that helps any.
