Still having trouble sleeping alone.

Alright mommas. My son will be a month old on Friday. I CANNOT get him to sleep in his bassinet. I have a rock n play (no judgement please, I know about the recall) I DO NOT let him sleep in it unless he is sitting right next to us and we are awake so usually during the day. I got the thing from a mom friend and spoke very highly about it and it’s the only thing I can get him to sleep in unless we’re holding him. I just need your opinions on letting your kids sleep in them at night..are they as dangerous as everyone is saying? I do plan on getting rid of it once he’s moving around...I’m just desperate for sleep right now...thank you in advance!
