Breastfeeding and teeth?

My son is almost 9 months old and currently has 4 teeth, his upper and lower. I'm still EBF and also doing 3 meals a day of solids (BLW and purees).
My son hasn't bit me really hard yet but his teeth are sharp and he has chomped down a little hard one time. Recently my nipples feel like they are on fire and so sore! It hurts to put a bra or shirt on! It's making me question whether I should start weaning and going to formula or just keep toughing it out?
I want to atleast breastfeed him until he is 12 months, that's my goal. 
I'm assuming/hoping my nipples will toughen up and get used to it?
Conflicted with what to do! I want to continue this journey but it's getting unbearable now, ouch :(

I started having this issue a few weeks ago with only 2 teeth. I contacted my LC and she suggested that I start hamburgering my boob and shoving it deeper in his mouth again like when he was learning. The teeth have changed the feel of his mouth and he needed to learn how to nurse efficiently again. After a couple days all was good. Every so often I do thread more boob into his mouth.

My son has 2 teeth. Second finally broke through today. We also breastfeed and he has foods through the day  I've had to pump half or more of the time though recently because (I'm think it's due to his high pallet) my nipples are getting so damaged. They were to the point of bleeding and very badly cracked in multiple spots. If you want to continue breastfeeding I suggest lanolin cream on your nipples and a disposable soft cloth nipple sheild to protect your bra from the cream. Its essentially a natural wax, actually derived from sheep wool. And if u can get a pump from Facebook groups or marketplace if you don't wanna buy a new one try pumping. My LO took a day or so to get used to a bottle but he eventually took it and now we just nurse at night because I'm too tired to pump. And i exclusively pump during day except maybe 3 nursing sessions. :/ I hope this helped ? Best of luck ♡
