We have been trying to save money for me to go on a full 12 week maternity leave. My work will cover 8 weeks but beyond that, I will have to pay. It seems like we finally get ahead and then we have to pull from our savings. We have had to fix some things around the house, and now my car is acting up and by the looks of it, that will be another $250-$350 fix, and I still need new tires for my car for the winter. I am overwhelmed and feel like we will never get the money we need saved up, much less be able to buy the furniture we need for the babies room. 😭
