I work part time at a daycare, and I’m 32 weeks pregnant. I’m also in school full time. Next week, being Thanksgiving, I am on break from school. When they asked about my availability for the week, I told my employer I could work more hours but preferably not super long shifts since I could potentially go into labor at any time. I was told “okay”

I have just found out I’ll be working 3 consecutive days of 10 hour shifts. We get a 30 minute lunch break, if staffing allows, and that’s it. There’s no opportunity for me to take extra breaks.

How would you guys go about this situation? Any advice?

I usually work with infants (8 in a room) but two of those days I’ll be with toddlers (10 in a room).
