Is this normal

So lately my Lo has been getting really red to poop to a point that she cries. I thought it was fine since she was in her walker but even if she’s laying down she’ll sometimes cry to poop. I take off her diaper and push her legs to her belly to help her take her poop out. It comes out hard. Does anyone know what I could do/give her? This doesn’t happen everytime thats she poops just sometimes
