She understands that she can put bacteria in her mouth, so she would switch hands if she’s holding someone’s hand or picking something up. She won’t suck them at school, but as soon as she gets in the car. Her fingers get the suckin. And there is nothing that we can do to stop her so far. She even got sick because she sucked her fingers after playing in the sand before I had the chance to wash her hands or put hand sanitizer on. So she caught a virus and we thought she would learn her lesson. No she just adapt to her circumstances. Now she will ask for hand sanitizer on a consistent bases which is good but when will this stop?!
