Period on getaway with boyfriend

I’m supposed to go on a weekend getaway with my boyfriend.
This is my first time alone with him where there is a bed and we were probably going to have sex.
However, Im due for my period then and I’m not sure what to do. Like sharing a bed with my boyfriend while having my period? Then not being able to have sex. I hope I don’t get it but it’s a possibility
