Swaddle for nap time?

How many of you swaddle only for bed time? I am wondering if I should not swaddle for nap time & only swaddle for bed time? My little guy hates his hands being swaddled, but will constantly startle himself and wake himself up if they are not. Just curious what you mamas are doing.

We are swaddling oh at bed time so she understands the difference between naps and bed time.

We swaddle for nap time. I don’t think he’d sleep otherwise, even though he cries at first.

Ftm here too. We swaddle for bedtime only or if I'm home alone and need a nap during the day otherwise no swaddle during naptimes. Hoping to make the transition to no swaddle a little easier but as I said FTM 😆

We swaddle for both. My little man won’t sleep well without it for naps. We stopped swaddling when my daughter started rolling, and we’ll do the same for this bub. I think either or is fine if it works for your baby.

We swaddle for naps and for bed. He hates it at first, but he sleeps so much better. A rested baby equals a happy house . . . unless my toddler says otherwise 😂😂

I use 2 completely different swaddles. One for naps and one for night. The night one is arms down and the nap one is the love to dream with arms up. Its helped her differentiate nap vs night

I swaddle for both naps and bedtime. I took the takingcarababies class and she said to do it for both so that they get into the routine of swaddle=sleep!

We swaddle for bedtime, but she seems to break out of it, and like her arms out, so we got her a sleep save instead that I’m excited to try. She also hates her bassinet and will sleep literally anywhere else. She naps so much better during the day because she’s not all right and bound together. All this girl needs is a nice warm blanket and she’s out! She’s currently napping in the fetal position on my bed right now!

We swaddle for naps too but keep his hands out so he can silica on his fingers. At nighttime we keep his arms in.
