I'm on the pill (Alysena). I've been on this birth control since January. It's been very effective, my boyfriend and I never use condoms anymore. I'm now taking an antibiotic called Clindamycin for 10 days. I know some antibiotics make the pill not effective for birth control. Does anyone know if this specific antibiotic will effect the pill? Should my boyfriend and I use condoms for extra protection while I'm taking the antibiotics just in case? If so, does anyone know how long we should use condoms for?
