Do you cosleep/bedshare with dockatot , boppy , lounger ?

I know it isn’t safe ! I am just curious to know who does this out of pure desperation for some sleep . Again i know it isn’t SAFE ! So if u have something to say about safety move along because i already know this !

If you know it isn’t safe, why do it? You want proof other babies have survived?  For every amount that survive it, another amount don’t. Don’t make your child a statistic. I have worked in child welfare and I have seen these tragedies. It isn’t worth it. If you want to bedshare, it comes with risks, but you can do things to make it safer. Take that route instead. ❤️

I know how exhausting it can be!! If you’re going to bedshare, there is a “safe(r)” way to do it. And that’s with none of those contraptions you mentioned. Just a bare bed.

My little guy wouldn't sleep longer than 20 mins alone. Out of desperation I brought him into our bed. I was more afraid of falling asleep on the couch with him than bringing him to bed. He now sleeps most of the night. He just needs to be close. Check out La leche league safe sleep seven. I follow those rules and feel good about bed sharing. Tried a dockatot type bed first and it never worked.

Nope, just had her sleep on me. I had her lay on her stomach on my chest or on her back with my arm wrapped around her. I would use the 2 sided full oregnancy pillow on both sides of me which kept both of us from moving. I also have the owlet sock so I would have known if she wouldnt have been able to breathe. It's hard early on you have to do what you gotta do. Women held their babies for a very long time during sleep so IMO we are biologically wired to do so and most women are aware of their baby even while sleeping.

i love cosleeping with my baby girl...i started doing it because she would just not stay in the bassinet asleep and that was the only way i could get any sleep ( at around a month old)....she was having lots of issues with gassiness...shes 4 1/2 and we have bonded so well...she sleeps better now but since im exclusively breastfeeding, its a lot easier for us to just sleep in the same bed...i do have a king, so we dont feel crowded in bed...i put her to sleep horizontally and im vertically in bed...just gives me a sense that i will not roll onto her...i do switch sides at night when feeding...i prop her on a pillow...it also reminds me that she is there (i know people say not to use pillows), but its just another reminder that she is there...its worked for me...when she begins to roll over, i will have to rethink all of this...she feeds every 2-3 hrs at night

I never used any of those i used to put her in the bed....no cover or pillows anywhere around her if dad was too tired i would put her on the other side of me....she’s still in the bed at 2 🙄 her brother will be born in February n he’s going in one of those bassinets that connects to the bed

I bed shared from newborn to 6 months out of desperation and it was the best choice that I could have made! We fought it for weeks and would take shifts, we were those parents that thought that was so dangerous. Until one night I just fell asleep nursing him in bed and we never looked back. I didn't use any of the things you mentioned just safe sleep 7. Hubs also got kicked to the guest room because he is all over the bed sleeping and doesn't wake up for a hurricane. Do what's best for your family!

We have a cot attached to the bed but lo sleeps in bed with us most of the time and i end up half in it lol! He does sometimes go in it but i usually pull hin across to me or he rolls into me lol! Hes 7months and has slept in with us from day 1 without any dockatot or lounger just in the bed x

We follow the safe sleep 7. No blankets, just a small pillow for mom and baby sleeps next to me on his back.
