Skyler for a boy? Opinions please!

Myself & my husband would like an usual name. The only name we both like so far is Skyler. Please give me your thoughts, does anyone else like this name for a boy?

I hear Skyler and I immediately think girl.  I'm a teacher, and Skyler is a really popular name right now.  I currently have 4 of them in class, and over the past few years, I've had probably 5 before this year.  Every single one of them is a girl.

I love it! I feel like it's a cooler or less common version of Tyler (not hating on Tyler either though-- that's my husband's name and I love that too lol). I hear Tyler all the time, but I've never met anybody named Skyler. It's cute!

I have a Skyler and he is awesome just like his name! Here where we live, the girls way of spelling it is Skylar and not Skyler. We have named him Skyler Gauge ❤
