Eggs fertilised

We had our egg collection yesterday and they managed to get 22 eggs. But today I had a phone call from the clinic to say that only 8 fertilised. Can someone tell me if this is normal or if it’s okay? I feel as though the drop from eggs collected to day 1 embryo’s is really big and I’m proper stressing 😔 how many are likely to reach day 5 statistically?

The embryologist kept saying it was good but I’m not so sure. But this is my first time I know absolutely nothing about all of this. Just really anxious.
