Not wanting the father to be in the delivery room

Hey so me and my unborns father split up nearly 2 months ago now, he's done nothing but cause me stress and upset since, nearly causing me and my 3 year old son to be homeless ect, I've decided I don't want him in the delivery room just my mum and possibly my best friend or one of my sisters, due wanting to make sure I have support and comfort whilst I'm in labour because I know will just get more stressed with him there and I don't want him having the opportunity to look at my bits, I haven't told him yet but I know it'll all kick off, am I in the wrong for doing this? :/
