Living apart after living together for years?

My relationship has had some problems and my boyfriend went and got an apartment with his friends because he thinks the space will be good for our relationship.
Do ANY of you have this experience and what happened?
*we have a baby, and we are in our mid 20s.

I’m all for spending time apart. Like going to your parents house for a week, going on a little solo vacation or getting a hotel room for a few days. Renting a whole ass apartment with friends seems like a much bigger commitment to the friends rather than the relationship. Id view that as the end of the relationship.

Honestly I would probably flip the hell out.. that’s a low blow and not cool at all. That wouldn’t sit right in my soul I just couldn’t. That’s what single men do. Is make choices without their woman. I’d be livid. I can only imagine how you feel. If he wants to create that distance then that’s on him if you end up finding someone better. Idk what you guys are going through but I would feel so freaking weird about that. I’d probably even feel insecure too tbh I’d ask if he’s leasing an apartment with his boys just to bang other females in it... but that’s just me though..

If you didn’t have a child together, I’d be annoyed but may be able to work through it. But you do. So really he’s leaving you and the child to get his own space. Which is not okay. That’d be the end of the relationship for me.

And how is that fixing ur relationship.. he's running away from his responsibilities.. he will come and see u in and out.. if my husband did that.. I would be fuming.. he needs to grow up.. he's more or less ended things with u.. how long is lease? Months.. year or two? And he's also spending money.. that could go elsewhere. Bye boy.

Temporary absence definitely is good for any relationship that you see is having problems. You start to value each other’s time more when y’all aren’t with each other 24/7
