Spotting 7 weeks pp....what is it?

I had an emergency c-section 7 weeks ago. Husband and I waited 6 weeks to have sex and have only done it twice so far. I bled after my c-section for about 4 weeks.
After having sex, ive begin spotting. Enough that I’ve had to put in a tampon for the past 3 days. I don’t think it can be my period, as I am exclusively breastfeeding and the bleeding isn’t really enough for a period. 
Any thoughts on what this could be or why?  Thanks!

It could actually be my first period. I’m 3 weeks pp and had a c-section and am exclusively breastfeeding as well. I stopped having any bleeding/discharge at 2 weeks 1 day pp. On Thursday, exactly 3 weeks pp, I started spotting and then bleeding again (just like my old periods). It continued, so I called my OB’s office yesterday and they said it could be that I started my period. It’s not unheard of. They did also say it could be stress related. I would say to contact your OB and see what they say.

Wow this exact same thing happened to me as well and I’ve been wondering what it is because I don’t want my period 😫 my first son, I ebf and didn’t get it until 8 months pp
