Unicornate Uterus-What now?
So I’m posting here because it seems the uterus anomalies group doesn’t have much feedback on these sort of things.
Some background on my story is that my partner and I have had three consecutive miscarriages (1 fetal demise, 1 Mmc, and 1 chemical which were all in the last year and a half) and no live births. I’ve gotten lots of blood draws checking for blood disorders, immune disorders, and variations of hormonal disorders. All of which have came back within range and so on. My son which was induced in Feb 2018 at 14 weeks was genetically tested and everything was normal.
FF to last week November 2019 I have my HSG test performed due to OB thinking there’s a septum. My results on my portal are stating it’s suggestive of a left unicornate uterus with left open fallopian tube and ovary. The right tube was not seen. I’m completely devastated and I missed a call from my OB on Friday wanting to talk before my results were released (I ended up seeing them this weekend and haven’t talked with her yet).
My question to you ladies that have uterine anomalies does IVF help something like this? I’m not familiar with IVF or IUI protocols or what steps are usually taken during those processes. Just trying to prepare myself for this conversation. Any experiences with this is more than welcomed too.
Thank you! ❤️
