Has clomid or tamoxifen worked for anyone?

Hi! So we have been TTC for 2yrs+ (10 months focussed) (me 37 - him 31) and no luck so far... we’ve just started tests and the doctors have said ‘largely normal’. This was for my day 3 test, and my day 19-21 test. Now the second test indicated that I didn’t ovulate so that is being redone. That month I had savage food poisoning so they said that could have caused it. We get more results this week for both of us... then probably a referral to the fertility clinic. I’m imagining first line of treatment could be clomid/tamoxifen... anyone had any luck on those?
