Which are y’all doing and if you’ve had either or both would you choose the same option you chose before? I’m absolutely terrified of iv’s but I’d rather have the IV in my arm/hand and no urinary catheter than a IV in my spine and a urinary catheter. Like I’m a pass out and throw up kind of person and I think I’m too petrified to actually go through with a epidural. Like typing this is making my heart race and please don’t just say “once you’re in labor you’re not going to care” so many people have said that to me but I think they’re underestimating my anxiety and fear of IV’s and just don’t understand it.
