Pepcid safety during first trimester ?

I have been having miserable acid reflux and heartburn. Tums and Rolaids don’t seem to be working as well. I’m desperate, is Pepsid AC max strength ok??

My doctor recommended Pepcid for my heartburn and told me to stay away from tums because it will just make it come back with a vengeance. With changing my eating habits and tracking what gives me heartburn I have been able to reduce it drastically so I don’t need to take anything anymore.
