Discharge 😖

This maybe TMI but I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom and when I wiped I had this brownish/redish discharge on the toilet paper. My period is 3 days late. And I haven't experienced any cramping. I have a feeling it may be my period but I'm not 100%..my husband and I are TTC. We tried a little after I had ovulated because we just recently decided we wanted to try for a baby. So I'm unsure. Anyone else experience this sometimes?
