Is it possible to have my period two weeks after miscarriage?

I believe my miscarriage occurred just over two weeks ago, however I was spotting consistently for two weeks prior to the big bleed. I’m not sure if I’m now having a period or if it’s related to the miscarriage. An ultrasound confirmed that I passed everything.

1 week after taking misoprostil for my MMC I got another ultrasound and OB confirmed I had passed everything. Even so, my lining was still 7 mm thick, just no products of conception left. She told me I could “have another period any day now or in the next few weeks”. I was just spotting at that point and my bleeding is picking up again so I’m counting it as another period.

Is it possible to have my period two weeks after miscarriage?
