Did you wake your newborn to feed at nights?

My baby was premature they told me wake her till she gained some weight after that let them wake u up

I woke up my baby during the night to do a dream feed when she wasn't putting weight on. That was around 2/3 weeks old and only lasted 2 weeks. When she was gaining steadily I let her wake up on her own. Seems to be working good now!

Only because he was jaundice and they told us we had to feed him no less than every 3 hours. Once he was passed that we let him lead the feeds

If she slept for more than 4 hours then I did until her pediatrician told me to at 9 weeks.

Only for the first week and a half before she was back to her birth weight and her doctor cleared her to sleep as long as she wanted.

My baby gained her hospital weight plus back, so no. However, if she wasn’t gaining appropriately I probably would have.

They only need to be woken in the middle of the night when they are below their birth weight. Once they get back up to it and beyond, I let them sleep unless otherwise instructed by the pediatrician for whatever reason. 
I do wake them every 3-4 hours during the day to eat though despite their weight.
