Legit midwife natural Route?

Question

Has anyone done super natural and laid back pregnancy? I have just hated every experience i have had with my last 3 pregnancies. My last one they found any reason for extra tests and extra appointments for no reason. I legit had 3 appointments a week for the last 2 months for legit zero reasons. I have had one appointment so far this pregnancy and suppose to have one in a few days that i have to cancel due to work. But i legit hate it sooo much. I just don’t want to go back there ever again

I see a midwife only practice. They deliver in hospital so there is no risk if things don’t go well. My last pregnancy everything went great but I eventually had to have an emergency c-section. 
I was able to get an epidural even before the c section decision was made. For me it was the best of both worlds. I could have a low intervention birth or all the interventions necessary. I originally didn’t want an epidural but I had to be induced because of meconium in my fluid and a risk of infection to me and the baby. 
I had monthly visits at the beginning and then weekly towards the end. I had the basic bloodwork (glucose and general stuff at the beginning) and only 3 ultrasounds (scheduled). I did have to go in for a nonstress test due to low movements. 
I am seeing the midwives again for this pregnancy and hoping for a VBAC.

I have for both of my pregnancies. I can go every 6 weeks. They only require bloodwork once, glucose test once, and 1 ultrasound. If you’re symptomatic of something, have concerns, or have indications that you need more than obviously you have more but they like to keep it low key and natural.
