How often do you get new family ornaments?

This is just directed towards people who do family ornaments.

Growing up, my mom would get a new one with everyone's name on it every year, even though our family did not change.

After putting it off for a few years, I finally bought our first family ornament last year, just me, my husband, and our pets. Our family has not changed since last year. No new pets, still no baby. I have a coupon from the place I ordered from and they are giving me a free personalized ornament.

I'm debating whether to get a new family ornament for this year, or something else. If I did a family one, it would just be a different design and have a different year on it.

How often do you get new family ornaments? Every year? Just when there's a change in your family?
