i need advice for chapped lips :/

a few days ago, my lips started to hurt and i thought they were chapped, so i’ve been applying chapstick and keeping the area around my lips clean. ive never had this much redness with chapped lips before.. does anyone have any advice of how to heal it? it hurts so badly
