I’ve just moved back to the uk I had my son overseas 2 years ago, I’ve registered him at the doctors and we had a call from the health visitor. She is coming to check his vaccination book and do an assessment on him. I’ve never had a health visitor and I’m in my parents house so I’m trying to move all the things that could be dangerous for a toddler 🙈 my mum loves her nik naks and trinkets. I’ve no idea what to expect from the health visitor do they check your home out? Where my son sleeps, baths, eats or is it more about how my son is rather than his environment? I’m trying not to stress myself out but I’m worried they will say the house isn’t child friendly. It’s clean and tidy but my parents haven’t had a child living in the house for 30 years so it’s very much an adult environment 🤦‍♀️
