TTC after D&C —how long to wait?

Question

Today I got the “okay” from my doctor to have sex and that it would be perfectly fine to get pregnant again. I had my d&c 12 days ago,  I haven’t had a period yet. 
How long did you guys all wait?

I waited about 6 weeks- but it also just worked out that way. I had a DC July 19 and travelled overseas without my husband 8/3.  Even though I bled lightly for about a week I just didn’t feel up to it yet before I left. Didn’t start having sex until we came back mid August and got pregnant after 3 cycles.

I had one in March. I started birth control 2 weeks after just to help my period start and all that. I stopped taking it after two months. I got pregnant again in June.
