My 6 year old is preforming at the halftime show for a professional basketball game 2 hours out of town. Bringing newborn is not going to be an option for several reasons. My baby will stay with my mom. I can’t miss her performance because it means so much to her. She’s worked really hard..

I have a few weeks until the game however I tried giving my newborn(one week old today) a bottle yesterday and she wouldn’t take it! She just wants my nipple. I never had this issue with my first daughter. I went back to college full time when she was two weeks and there was no issue with the bottle.

Any tips mamas?? Husband is going to pick up a few different type of bottles today that are specificity for breastfed baby’s so fingers crossed. Would love any other tips or tricks.
