Would you get induced? Why or why not?

My doctor has brought it up a couple times, just curious on people opinions 😊

I’d only get induced if medically necessary or if we surpass the 41 week mark. Little peanut will come when she’s ready! My doctor keeps offering to set an induction date (he has been since I was 35 weeks) because I am 3cm dilated and 90% effaced. I see no need for it until there’s a possible risk if we don’t induce her

Only if medically necessary. I don't see a reason too unless baby needs to come out for the health and safety of themselves or momma. Otherwise, let babe come on their own.

I’m getting induced so I can be home with my other kids on Christmas. I’m due the 28th, I’ll be induced the 21st. Unless he comes on his own like his brother did last year.

I did with my first due to him not gaining wait, with this baby if I got the option I would say no even though my inducement went well the first time.

I was induced with my first because her sac was ruptured for going on 3 days and there was a high risk of infection so it was considered an emergency. I would NEVER EVER recommend a mom to get one done unless absolutely medically necessary 😩 it was the worst and recovery (in my opinion) was longer and harder than what people experience in natural births. This baby I plan to do a home birth and I’m so excited to not go through induction again because HELL NO that was not fun, it didn’t feel good, and I wish I had a different option.

I am, but it’s more of a placenta issue and it’ll be 39 weeks so I trust their opinions. They said b/c I’m 43 my Placenta will start aging faster so they won’t let me go to 40. Soooo, 12.10 it is

Yes if medically necessary which was the case with my first and with this pregnancy. I had an amazing experience with my first. Went in the previous night for Cervidil then had my water broke the next morning to kick things off. Water was broken at 9:30am and my son was born at 2:30pm (only 5 hours). Needed nothing else like pitocin. Fingers crossed this induction goes just as smoothly.

If baby flips and this is even an option for me, I will likely get induced around 12/28 to have baby by the end of the year.

Only if there was a medical reason for it. I’m super uncomfortable at this point in my pregnancy, but I’ll let baby cook for as long as she wants because her development is more important than my comfort.
