Why do guys never message?

Hey y’all so I’m on tinder and have quite a bit of matches. Some of them will reach out and message me but a lot of don’t. If guys are in the majority in apps like that then why wouldn’t they reach out and see what could happen?

Sometimes they aren’t active because they are taking a break or met someone. I met my husband on tinder and probably went on 20 first dates before him too. I started a lot of the convos, guys can be shy too. “How was your weekend/week” then convos either flowed or didn’t. Try bumble, only the girls message first

I mean it's 2019 nearly 2020 if you match with someone you can  just as easily message first
