My husband and I have been patiently waiting for today to get to see our little bean since our 10 week ultrasound. The baby measured at exactly 19 weeks and 6 days. All of his/her organs are developing perfectly. The heart, limbs, bones are all developing as they should. When checking the brain the ultrasound detected bilateral cysts (forget the medical term for it). She reassured me that this is relatively common and can go away even before birth! But of course, to follow up she scheduled me for a level 2 ultrasound for a more in-dept scan. Anyone else receive this news at any of their scans?

They said they also want to rule out any chromosomal abnormalities. They told me not to worry because everything else looks PERFECT! But of course it keeps running through my head 😩
