I feel silly, is it ok to have a bath on bedrest?

Is it ok to have a nice long bath if I'm on bedrest or just a quick shower to wash up? I feel so silly but I've never been on bedrest when pregnant with my other babies so I have no idea about anything :/

Bedrest means limiting physical activity. Even with full bedrest you can still shower and bathe. So definitely take a relaxing bath if you’d like!

I would say no because long hot baths aren’t advisable when pregnant as they can make your temperature rise which isn’t good for the baby xx

So unless your dr said complete or full bedrest you’re ok doing things like daily activities or getting out of bed. Just don’t do like physical activities or anything extreme. Be careful and don’t push your body. If you aren’t sure though what they said I’d ask to be sure because there is a big difference.
