Pains in the vag?

Question

I had my cervix check yesterday and it hurt so bad! Afterwards I could barely move my legs let along walk. Today is better but still hurts. Is this common? I've have my cervix checked a few times before and didn't have this type of pain? Im 36 weeks could this be labor starting soon? Baby is head down and really low. I have had contractions due to a car accident on the 20th but not within the last few days.

I had pain like that and apparently I had a UTI (my daughter was headdown so I thought the pressure was her but turns out shes transverse again). While that may not be the case for you but something to look into maybe?

It’s normal.  I had my cervix checked Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning I was woken up because of such bad cramping.  It’s now Wednesday night and I’m still having cramping off and on.  It’s very low in my tummy

Glad my doctor doesn’t do cervix checks because it’s pointless and painful. I had one due to me going to the hospital for contractions and never again.
