Flu shot symptoms?

I just got my flu shot yesterday and have been feeling like crap since. I woke up this morning with a headache that wouldn’t go away, so far I’ve taken 3 extra strength Tylenols that haven’t helped and I’ve been drinking a lot of water. I’m feeling chills and body aches and very fatigued. Anyone else experience the same? I’m 15 weeks and 4 days today

The flu shot itself won’t make you sick HOWEVER it’s given to make your body immune to that virus. So if you have a bit of something starting already, it will weaken your immune system bringing on whatever it is at full. I’ve had a nasty cold since a few days after getting it. Being a nurse though I’m basically forced to get one every year and this is the first I’ve been sick after. Push fluids and get some rest- hope you feel better soon!

I got it at my last appointment at 13weeks. I had a sore arm, stuffy nose and a brutal cough. Ive never had it before but I'm feeling better and thankful I did it. I plan on doing it yearly for the fact I get really sick usually🤦🏻‍♀️ most people often get the flu or flu like symptoms before the shot. It took until Sunday for my arm to feel better from my shot on Thursday.

i'm not getting it because i have only gotten the flu after i got the flu shot but maybe it's different for other people 🤷🏻‍♀️ i'm not risking it tho

I decided against the flu shot due to the fact I’ve never got one before and don’t want to test it while pregnant, but very nervous of getting the possible flu! Hope you feel better soon ❤️

That is the immune response that the shot is designed to stir up. It's just probably worse due to pregnancy's lowered immune system. You should be feeling better in a few days, but drink lots of water in the meantime.
