I got my IUD placed on 11/12. We’re now 2 weeks after insertion. My husband and I have been having sex sense two days after and have had no problems until last night. About half way through it became painful. I tried sucking it up and dealing with it the rest of the time (not because he made me, because I wanted to finish having sex). When we were finished, the pain got way worse, it brought tears to my eyes. Is it normal to have painful sex with an IUD? I’ve never had it before.
