I’ve got a BMI of 30, doing a VBAC and a homebirth. Still not considered high risk. BMI should never be used it is a flawed system.

I’m 28+4 and still feeding hay to the cows off the back of the truck daily. Can’t lift the hay onto the truck anymore but I was two weeks ago. Your individual health should be assessed not a number anyone can get on the internet via your measurements.

I have a bmi if 29. I’m apparently classed as high risk but I call absolute bullshit because bmi only measure the WHOLE weight, not the factors that contribute to it, like bone density, blood mass, muscle mass and weight. Before I became pregnant I was 30 bmi when I actually was at 85% muscle, 15% fat yet drs said I’m obese 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄 here’s a pic of pre pregnancy that was apparently too big to have kids and I’ll only end up being high risk . Bullshit I say👇🏼

Then turns out I got pregnant after all 🙄🙄 funny that (this was like 32 weeks ago)

Anything over 30 bmi, I was high risk with my first but had no complications. If its 35 bmi they're a bit more concerned.
