I don’t know why, but I tend to get contractions when I’m waiting for my doctors appointments, when on the fetal monitor twice a week (I’m high risk), and it when I’m at the hospital for more tests.

Maybe it’s the way they have me lay down? I’m 37 weeks today and it’s been like this for a few weeks but today it was actually painful. I usually sleep on my sides but for the monitor they have me lay down on my back and be slightly inclined.

I do hope that my baby waits a few more days to come into this world as my parents are expected to land on Monday from Canada for the birth and to help for a month.
