Anyone else feel like their baby is getting overstimulated at the holidays? We literally just had thanksgiving with our small families, parents and sisters and grandparents. Everyone wants to hold and get a reaction out of my LO all day long. It was so stressful and such a struggle taking him to nurse him and getting peace and quiet. He didn’t take any naps even though I nursed him and laid him in a quiet room with me for an hour. By the end of the day he was just so exhausted and screaming like crazy and barely had energy to nurse. I felt so bad for him and I was so irritated with everyone else. I did my best to make it clear he needed time to reset and rest but everyone is so excited and it’s just so hard to manage. Now today my husband wants to have family over again to go out and eat. I’m over it. We have a third thanksgiving celebration tomorrow and it would be nice to just have like one sister come over and play today. I feel like I have to protect my baby!
