Hook effect?

Is this the hook effect? I am 5 weeks and 5 days. My hcg was 8300 @ 5 weeks 2 days so it should be much higher than that now. The first test is non diluted. The second is diluted with water. I was concerned bc my test looked same as a few days ago if not lighter so I tried the diluted theory and it stole ink from control line. I had five early miscarriages this year so that’s why I’m so paranoid. No more test for me! Ultrasound next wed. Thanks!
